Hey guys! I was finally able to make my cover page for my magazine. I went through all the photos I took of my brother and decided that the one of him sitting in the chair was best. After I placed it down I was confused on what I should put in my bylines but I realized I should include articles that I had stated in my table of contents plan. I had a lot of fun designing it and thought the stars were a good add on as they fit the sky/kidcore theme I was going for. The bold colors also fit the colors of the rainbow I had in the background.
At first I thought that it seemed pretty empty because I didn't include too much from it, but after viewing other magazine cover pages I figured that the simplicity of my magazine was what was going to draw more people into it, if it was cluttered then it could draw people away. Im really happy with how this cover page came out and Im excited to start my table of contents!
